My creative brain won’t stop.
I wrote “The Call of Chaos” and, when I was done, I turned right around and wrote “The Coming Storm” (while the former was being edited). Then I edited the first and, while artwork was being finalized, I edited the second. I released The Call of Chaos and am now just about ready to release The Coming Storm.
And, man, am I stoked!
I’ve had very good feedback on The Call of Chaos and much of it is positive. Sure, I enjoy hearing positive feedback and compliments on what I write, but not because I like compliments. In fact, I’m terrible at accepting compliments.
The truth is, I enjoy knowing that readers have been entertained. I like to weave a good story and leave the reader wanting more.
I sometimes get asked questions about The Call of Chaos and, though I cannot answer many of them (because, spoilers), I LOVE the fact that readers are intrigued enough to ask them in the first place.
This is all why I simply cannot WAIT to share the second book with everyone. And it’s being loaded into the coolness cannon to be blasted out into the world…possibly while on fire.
And there might be ninjas.
